For those of us who are shy, or at least feel weird about approaching strangers for business, a recent article in the New York Times gives some valuable tips. The main thing is that you don’t have to be a used car salesman. You can just start up casual conversations to create friends and relationships. People need to feel comfortable with you before they are going to do business.
